I don't always talk about God in my posts but today I feel like giving back the glory for all my blessings to God himself. If not for his blessings I would be a beggar on the street now. I am very grateful for my Preply.com students who are now cropping up when I least expected them to sign up. I am especially grateful for this one mom who reserved two certain timeslots for her two sons indefinitely meaning even if we have been studying together for years those two timeslots would still be theirs to attend. That's stability and I am very happy about that.
She told me that the reason she signed up her two sons as my students is NO ONE ELSE is offering tutorials to children in English writing in Preply.com. So it seems I'm a niche as far as these tutorials are concerned and I hope more students sign up for my services in the near and distant future.
I'm also grateful to her because her two sons have learning disabilities that I have never encountered before with any other students of mine. This is crucial because I need to learn how to teach students with ADHD and dyslexia. My friend Kay who also teaches children said it might be harder than expected because students with special needs are often a handful or refuse to follow their teachers. Well, we'll see. It's very important to understand such special needs students because they need someone who understands them. After all, I am an undiagnosed autist on the high functioning end of the spectrum so I have to be open minded about teaching special needs students myself.
The only difficulty I can see is if my full time job with this BPO gets in the way schedule-wise. But there's no conflict yet so let's see if I can handle this kind of load. God is good and always provides.
